PM Addresses Shooting On 5/1/24

PEACH TREE - Our hearts are shattered at the news of the ongoing Mass Shooting event that is unfolding in downtown Alden, Mesa, and the loss of life that we already know of. We are currently working closely with our law enforcement partners and will continue to cooperate with the investigative efforts of the Mesa Highway Patrol, Alden Police Department and the Alden County Sheriff's Office.

Customers are being asked to find alternative stores or order online for any products they wish to purchase or may need, as the investigation of the shooting will keep the store closed for an unknown period of time. No persons are going to be permitted within the area and a heavy police presence will be noticed while traveling near the area.

Police are being thanked for their quick reaction to the shooting and saving countless lives by taking down the gunman who killed 5 beautiful souls. We as a company and community mourn their losses and we are working to implement measures within our stores to ensure that another situation doesn't occur similar to this one. We are continually monitoring the ongoing investigation and will continue to provide updates as the investigation progresses.
