January 25, 2026 - Product Mart Chief Executive Officer Mark Garlow has announced that Product Mart will resume operations in 15 countries including the United States, Canada, Mexico, Ireland and the United Kingdom . It will also launch operations in Italy, Latvia, Germany, France, Saudi Arabia, Cambridge, Switzerland, Japan, Norway and New Zealand.
He announced that the operations in these countries would provide customers the products they need and would help expand the companies global reach. A goal of CEO Mark Garlow is to end food insecurity by investing in countries that have a high food irregularity.
"I am extremely proud to announce that we will be expanding operations in 15 countries, some that we previously served," said Chief Executive Mark Garlow. "For our company to be expand into other global markets is huge. Companies like Target and Walmart in the US have not been able to expand as much as Product Mart has in the last few years. Under my leadership we will see a huge surge in the number of families we get to proudly serve. We will be working with transitional teams of the countries where we will operate and communicate with their respective governments."
The company says more changes and services are coming but says it is rolling each new service and update out slowly as it upgrades its exisiting electronic infrastructure.
October 26, 2025 - Product Mart says it will move forward with plans to relaunch operations in the United States and Canada, working with local officials to kick start the process.
"I think the United States and Canada will be the perfect places to relaunch our international operations, before expanding elsewhere," said Product Mart CEO Mark Garlow. "We have seen markets in both countries improve significantly, and we are ready to increase operations internationally."
The company completely ceased operations in the US and Canada on July 7, 2021. The company said it was part of its planned restructuring and resulted from uncertainty in the US and Canadian markets.
"We are now in a good place to begin working to restore services in these areas," said Interim Chief Operations Officer Jennifer Steadlin. "We can see incredible opportunities with resuming US and Canadian operations. We are working with suppliers and investors in both countries to relaunch operations there."
The company will be able to establish about 2.6 million new jobs in the US alone, and will create 250,000 new jobs in Canada. It says it could see an extreme growth of company services in other countries as well, but no plans to expand operations are planned currently. The company does not have any plans to start operations in other countries currently, but plans could be annoucned later.
